Terms of Service

Agreement

By using FareHalo, you agree to these Terms of Service. The operator of FareHalo is identified in the Legal Notice. Personal data is processed by the controller identified in the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What FareHalo provides

FareHalo is a flight discovery, price-comparison, fare-alert, and booking-referral service. You tell FareHalo when and from where you can travel. FareHalo shows destinations and indicative discovery fares, lets you inspect a live itinerary, choose outbound and return flights, pick a seller, and continue to that seller to book.

FareHalo is not an airline, travel agency, OTA, or ticket seller. FareHalo does not issue, control, or sell flight tickets. FareHalo is currently a free, non-commercial beta. Users do not pay FareHalo for this service. FareHalo currently receives no affiliate commission or compensation from booking providers. FareHalo does not sell tickets and has no paid ads or sponsorships. Users do not pay FareHalo during this beta. Bookings are completed with independent airlines or OTAs.

Fares, itineraries, and booking handoff

• Discovery fares shown on the map and destination cards are recently observed, indicative samples. They are not live Google Flights offers. They can differ from a later verified itinerary.
• After you select a destination, FareHalo requests live itinerary details. The selected itinerary total is a provider-supplied offer at that moment. Prices and availability can change without notice before you finish booking.
• You choose an outbound flight, then a compatible return where the trip is return travel, then a seller. Continue hands you off to an independent airline or OTA. That seller’s checkout is a separate contract.
• Airlines and OTAs are responsible for ticket fulfilment, baggage, schedule changes, cancellation, and flight refunds. Request those from the actual ticket seller.

FareHalo does not guarantee savings, provider uptime, alert delivery, uninterrupted availability, or that a particular fare will remain bookable.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your login credentials secure. You must be 18 or older, or have parental or guardian consent, to use the service.

Current access (free beta)

FareHalo is currently a free, non-commercial beta. Users do not pay FareHalo for this service. FareHalo does not accept user payments and has no paid plans. Fair-use and live-fare-check limits may apply. No paid plan is currently available.

Airline and OTA tickets

Airlines and OTAs are responsible for ticket fulfilment, baggage, schedule changes, cancellation, and flight refunds. Request those from the actual ticket seller. FareHalo does not accept user payments and has nothing to refund. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Beta status does not remove those rights.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use the service for illegal, harmful, or infringing activity
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or bypass the service, search limits, or billing systems
• Resell or automate access in a way that abuses provider capacity without prior written permission

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant FareHalo a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the service. FareHalo branding, site design, and software remain the operator’s property or that of licensors.

Third-party processing

Account authentication is handled by Supabase. FareHalo does not currently accept payments. Search requests may be sent to SerpApi and similar providers. Transactional email is sent with Resend. Maps may use Mapbox. Hosting is on Vercel. Use of the service is also subject to the Privacy Policy.

Liability

The service is provided as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FareHalo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost flights, lost savings, or business losses arising from use of the service or from a third-party seller. Aggregate liability for claims relating to FareHalo access is limited to the amount you paid FareHalo in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is unlawful. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes are subject to the competent courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may give you the right to bring proceedings in your place of residence.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date will change when we do. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where mandatory law requires additional notice or consent.
