Flexible dates flight search
FareHalo does not search one departure date and one return date. You add multiple availability windows and a trip-length range. Discovery then looks for trips that fit those windows and that length — which is how flexible travellers actually search.
Windows plus trip length, not a single pair
In Explore you set when you could travel (availability windows) and how long the trip should be (minimum and maximum nights). FareHalo accepts 1–15 windows and 1–90 nights. Presets such as Weekend (2–3), Short trip (4–6), Week (7–9) and Two weeks (12–16) are shortcuts for that range, not separate products.

Destination can stay open at the same time. That pairing is flexible destination flight search.
What happens when suggested dates miss your windows
Broad destination discovery sometimes proposes dates that sit outside the windows you set. FareHalo can still sample trips that fit your windows and trip length instead of dropping the search. That fallback is how far-future or sparse regions stay usable. It is not a live booking calendar, and it does not mean every date inside every window was checked.
What you should expect from the results
Open the opportunity map after you set windows and length. Discovery fares are recently observed and indicative. Route-relative ratings appear only when enough comparable trips exist — see is this flight price good? FareHalo does not rate every fare. Check current fares validates a chosen itinerary; the seller total can still change. FareHalo does not sell tickets.
